Use Twinlinker to present Twinmotion projects on smartphones, tablets and computers
Twinmotion’s diverse export options offer various types of presentation possibilities to bring the architect’s imagination to life. High-quality renderings; standard or 360° videos; 360° panoramas; and BIMmotion, the auto-executable standalone viewer gives architects a large choice to produce media that best suits their project presentation needs. But how can these be shared with a client? Until now, the most common way to share a project was via a cloud-based file transfer service, such as WeTransfer or Google drive. Clients download the media and view them using their own media player. What if your client could view your renderings, animations and panoramas on their smartphones and tablets? With Twinlinker, it’s possible and easy to do. In this article, we’ll introduce you to Twinlinker and how to use it to present Twinmotion projects on a smartphone, tablet and computer. Twinlinker is an online platform for creating and sharing virtual visits of your projects online instantly and easily. The virtual visit includes not only 360° panoramas but also images and animations rendered with Twinmotion and Artlantis. It can be shared widely by email, on social networks or make available on your website. The Twinlinker user interface contains four main pages: the Dashboard, Assets, Virtual Visits, and Share. The dashboard shows your subscription type and your storage account balance. It also gives an overview of all the assets and virtual visits created in your account. What is Twinlinker?
A quick tour of Twinlinker’s interface
Twinlinker access is included in the 2-year Twinmotion Privilege Card subscription.
It can also be purchased separately here as well. Twinlinker is priced at 468 EUR per year and includes:
- The online platform specialized in the creation and publication of virtual tours
- An unlimited number of virtual tours
- Up to 10 simultaneous shares
The assets page allows you to preview media imported from Twinmotion or Artlantis and create folders to group media according to projects.
The Virtual Visits page allows you to manage all the virtual visits created in your account, whether it’s to remove, share or modify one of them.
The share page allows you to generate a URL or create an embed code for your project and measure its performance according to the number of visits in a certain period of time or according to geographical areas.
Create virtual visits in Twinlinker in 4 steps
The principle of Twinlinker is quite simple and logical. It uses hotspots to link panoramas, images and animations together to create a virtual visit.
Step 1/4
Click on the “New Virtual Visit” button to start a new project, then choose a name for your virtual visit.
Step 2/4
Choose one panorama from the asset list that will be used as a starting point.
Step 3/4
Create a hotspot to link it with another media. It can be
- another panorama
- a carousel with images and animations
- a note with explanations
Step 4/4
Create a URL of this project and share it with as many contacts as you wish. The link can be viewed using a smartphone, tablet or computer.
When viewing the virtual visit on a smartphone, you can also activate the VR mode to watch the project in VR using a Google Cardboard viewer.
