Q&A
- Which VR viewers are compatible with Twinmotion 2018?
Twinmotion 2018 is compatible with Oculus Rift and HTC Vive. You can connect your VR viewer with Twinmotion in either full screen mode or BIMmotion mode.
- Why is the VR button in Twinmotion grey?
If your VR viewer is connected, Twinmotion will automatically detect your VR devices. If your VR button in Twinmotion is grey, it means that either your VR viewer is not installed properly or it’s not connected.
- Does Twinmotion support HTC Vive controllers and Oculus touch?
Not with the current version.
Abvent is planning to integrate the HTC Vive controllers and Oculus Touch. We are studying all the possibilities for a VR interface, but it will take some time.
For the moment, you can either navigate in VR mode using a keyboard or a gamepad.
- How do I adjust the eye height in VR mode?
Twinmotion keeps the eye height setting of the VR viewer. If you’d like to change the view height in Twinmotion VR mode, you can adjust it in the VR viewer configuration.
