Feedback Friday – 27.10
It’s Friday. Time for a new Feedback Friday post just for you!
To ask the Twinmotion team questions, you can leave your questions on the Twinmotion forum, under the “Feedback Friday” post on the Twinmotion Facebook page, or #Twinmotion on Twitter. The most asked questions will be answered every two weeks in a Feedback Friday article.
- How to precisely define the coordinate of an object?
It’s possible to precisely define the position, rotation and scale of a model in the scene. To do so, first select the model in the Scenegraph, then choose Transform in the phasing list.

- Why am I not able to go through doors in BIMmotion?
In BIMmotion, when activating the « Physic » mode (shortcut M), the pedestrian mode and the collision will be activated. You’ll be able to walk in the scene with the same eye level and walk up the stairs; you won’t be able to fly or go through a physical door.
- How do I rename an output media?
You can personalize the name of a media during the creating phase. Let’s take the image as an example. While creating a first camera, click on the “Image 01” to modify the image name then press Enter to confirm.

- Does Twinmotion support SLI?
Unreal Engine doesn’t support SLI. Twinmotion doesn’t either. Two graphic cards may speed up the rendering process, but Twinmotion won’t take full advantage of the two graphic cards.
- How can I create graffiti in Twinmotion?
You can’t create graffiti in Twinmotion 2018. A work-around is to add a plane from the “Primitives” and add your texture to it. Then place the plane on the wall. You can even save your plane to the user library and reuse it on another occasion.
That’s all for this Friday. Submit your questions on Facebook, Twitter or the Twinmotion Forum and see you in the next Feedback Friday!
